Tonite’s Winter Sunset speaks its own Poetry
My Words are useless
They could never convey what my Eyes witness
The Bay receded so far, I could walk what felt like the middle of the Sea
I stopped where the Ice broke and the new Shore began
Embracing the Sounds of the Shore Birds
I couldn’t feel Winter’s cold breath
For it was far too Warm where I stood below the Golden Pink Sky
